Honeywell Evohome BDR91relay wiring help

There may be a standard wiring method but it is not the only way to do it.

Can you show me an alternative method then please ?

Yes but that doesn't say where the thermostat wires go.

Why not? The white valve wire selects heating on, therefore that is the output of the new controller.

There are several things that could be done.

I was just not as certain as you that it was a standard Y plan wired system and thought more caution should be employed for safety.

So by process of elimination......and to clarify

Block 11 as per piccie, in the wiring centre we think is neutral so this can go to the N terminal in the bdr91.
Block 10 as per piccie, we think is the permernant live so this can go to the L terminal in the bdr91.
Block 9 as per piccie, we think is the switched wire so this can go to the B terminal in the bdr91.

Does the A terminal in the Bdr91 need to be bridged to anything please?

Thanks

you really should confirm some of these terminals to avoid a headache.
Not sure I understand your numbering. Maybe some terminals out of sight

Yes terminal A needs connection. Either to a live, or preferably to the timer CHon (which is the brown to the exist Tstat I think you said)

as an update i just wanted to say thank you to all for their input. It really did help and i finally got it working........ yippee

in the end it was as we discussed. the brown was live, grey was neutral and black was the switched live in the tstat and the black wire in the tstat did go back to the white call wire for the valve.

Thanks again guy's.
