Hi All

I have inherited an old Honeywell Galaxy 16+ alarm, fitted by ADT. Yesterday night my teenage daughter set it off (!!!!) and it now won’t allow me to reset - it’s showing ‘Call alarm co. Quote code 33466’.

We don’t have a contract with ADT and they don’t want to help. And we don’t know the engineers code. Does anyone have any advice on how to clear down the code - maybe ideas for the engineers code, or some other way of clearing it?

Thanks

Tom

Sorry that was an engineer code ! If u have your code and engineer code google manual it tell you how to turn off alarm company .

It's a 16+, so the default eng code is only the first 4 digits of that. The panel will likely need codes defaulting. PM me and I'll help you out.

Note that the code it's looking for at the moment is a reset code from ADT. They would normally create the reset code using an application at their end and it's based on a seed code they program the panel with. If you reset or get the engineer code, you can disable the remote reset function.
