Honeywell Galaxy G2 20

I have a honeywell galaxy G2 20 already system that has statlrted going off during the night. I need to organise a battery for it. If I remove the battery will the alarm continue to randomly go off until a replacement is installed.

it will stay quiet unless the power goes off again. tool station have the battery for that panel
