hi, i had a worcester greenstar boiler fitted this summer and the system updated to a Y plan. the roomstat fitted was a t6360. i decided last week to replace it with the t6360 with the small indicator light. all is working as it should except when the demand for heat is satisfied the light goes dim instead of out. so whilst programmer was off i took a reading between
terminals 1(live) and 2(neutral) and got a reading of 12 volts hence, i suppose, the light being dimly lit. my question being is this ok to leave and from where cometh the 12 volts? hoping someone can enlighten me.

I think the voltage is off a neutral, yes its ok.

This is why I always install stats on combis with no neon!

thanks for that londonboy. any idea where the 12 volts comes from and if you don't fit these then i gather there's no solution?
