Hi Simple issue.

12 year old Honeywell room stat. Three wires to it, terminal 1 = Red, Terminal 2 = Black, Terminal 3 = Red

Digistat has three terminals = "C", "On" and "off"

Diagram inidcates the from Boiler feed that terminal "1" goes to "C" and "2" goes to "on". That blows the fuse controlling the Heating/HW timer switch so no good.

Tried putting terminal "3" to "C" and Terminal "2" still to "On". Fuse doenst blow but heating does not turn on.

I have reverted back to the Honeywell for now but can anyone help ?

terminal 1 (red)...to....c in new stat

terminal 3 (red)...to....on in new stat

the black wire is a neutral, put a plastic connector on it and leave it safely out of the way, hopefully you havent buggered your new stat ;)
