Hi all.....I have a CH/HW system that has 2x Honeywell valves and what is happening is that when the programmer shuts both systems down, the valve on the CH still remains open, with the pump and boiler still working.
I have been told that this is more than likely a problem with the micro switches in the synchron motor? I have obtained a replacement motor, but before fitting it does the manual lever on the valve head have to be in a certain position? Can anyone offer advice, thanks

The microswitches are not part of the motor they are part of the head unit, it may also require a new ball and plate adaptor aswell depending on wheather the case has a bump on it or not.

Nope just turn power off and undo the little screw holding the motor in place, with it out of position check the microswitch underneath it is not stuck in.

Just wiggle the cog into postion when refitting and make sure its engaged into the teeth by trying the arm
