Hi there, I am having trouble pairing up this Honeywell wireless thermostat with the remote reciever which was pre-installed.

The thermostat is a T3H700RF0096, replacing a broken T3H700RF0096-1 which used to work fine. Both the replacement and old are visibly identical, and both are Reciever Category 2 so I thought this would be an easy swap... But apparently not!

I'm used to a little 'flame' symbol appearing on the thermostat when I ramp the temp up, and hear heating kicking in, but this isn't happening with the new one. I've no idea what model the remote reciever is, and that's part of my problem. (I don't think it's a Honeywell one though). I have followed the thermostat setup instructions but I can't get it to pair up; I think the instructions are for a different receiver (which also was Category 2).

Any suggestions welcome, thanks.

Depending on the receiver you have with the new one, might be why it doesn’t work. I can’t see this link (think it’s my iPad) but try this: https://support.resideo.com/s/artic...stat-to-the-BDR91-receiver-box?language=en_US. You do need to clear any previous binding on the receiver and the handset
Thanks, yeah I need to 'factory reset' the reciever to clear it before re-binding. Thanks so much for identifying what my receiver actually is! BDR91. I think those instructions will help me a lot. Cheers.
