Hoover Dynamic washing machine

Hi after a power cut, the cycle which was in progress on the washing machine was stopped mid cycle. Since returning power the door light does not stop flashing therefore preventing us from doing anything. Have emptied the water manually but still the door does not lock.
Is there a secret combination of buttons I need to press to reset the computer and get to start working?
Any help please?

Post the model details on door sticker...Hoover dynamic doesn't tell us much.

Sorry, its a Hoover DYN 9144 DG. We bought this quite recently

If it is still under guarantee ring Hoover & claim a warranty (don't mention the power cut).
