Hoover HND315 Dish Washer

Hello all, we have a problem with our dishwasher. Every time it is put on any of the hot washes it somehow trips the main breaker in our fuse box, not its own breaker (current going to earth?). However on a cold rinse it works perfectly.

Would I be right in thinking its a heating element fault?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes...it is likely a faulty heater element is causing your rcd trip.
