Hi all,

My washing machine has decided to develop a leak. I've done all the obvious checks and now have decided to remove the rear panel to trace the leak.

Whilst the machine was running, i noticed that some water is being pumped out from the little hole (see photo, above letter 'A'). This obviously is not right, the obvious remedy is to plug the hole.

But before doing anymore damage, can anyone advise on how best to fix this.

Cheers all

Epoxy resin can work. Milliput can be bought at craft shops and some diy stores. Mix equa This will fix any holes smaller than a 5p piece. Inside the Milliput box is two tubes of plasticine. Mix equal amounts of each together for a minute or two. Then apply the mixture into the hole and cover the immediate area. When dry it should stop the leak and hold under the massive vibrations of the drum assembly
