:I have a Hoover upright vacuum cleaner. It is making an unusual noise. I have looked for blockages, and all seems clear.

Has anyone any suggestions as to what it might be please.

some thing blocking it that you have not yet found.

odd noises are cause by something vibrating very fast, its how all noises are made.
