Hoover Washing Machine EL160 - power trouble?

My EL160 displayed an error code 4 earlier in the week. I couldn't find the manual so I turned it off. The next day when I turned it on it was back to normal and has worked ok since - until this morning! The screen was totally blank as though there was no power getting through. I had to go out to get fuses to change it but by the time I got back the screen disoplay was back on again. Any suggestions?

Either a dry joint or faulty component on the control pcb or poor connection at one of the p/skts. Try unplugging connections to the pcb & appplying De-oxit or some such cleaner/de-oxidiser.
