Hope they all got points as well.

I have a suggestion (requires a change in the law) - driving in such a lane makes your insurance invalid, so as well as getting done for ignoring the lane closed sign, drivers are then driving without insurance, which AIUI is an absolute offence, so as well as the penalty for that, people would be faced with the delightful consequences of answering "Yes" to "Have you ever been convicted of driving without insurance?" when they renew
You could just as easily say any driver in an accident caused by his lack of due care should have his insurance declared void. The point of insurance is to cover the driver when he's in the the wrong. The insurance company would have a better chance of getting out of paying if nobody is at fault - so-called act of god. Eg a tree branch falling into the road.

Had a temporary ban because I am permanently banned from replying to the triple account holder and I posted a screenshot.
BTW, I said drivers on the hard shoulder were driving Prius and Teslas.
The bright spark didn't get the joke and wanted proof.
My reply was banned and I posted a screenshot that he immediately reported.
Leftists do this everyday in real life and politics: as they're always talking rubbish, to avoid being exposed they silence others.

What red x?

Couple of points:
- Rehabilitation of Offenders Act, trumps uberrimae fidei, so they can say "no"
- Any subsequent accident, is paid by everyone else via MIB.
- At the time of the offence, they were insured assuming no claim was made.

Could simply just increase the penalty. But I would not want to see those who nick a couple of feet to take their exit and leave the queue hit with the same as those who think the hard shoulder is their private lane.

Regardless of the motoring offence committed, provided it is listed on this schedule a person is required to disclose the conviction to an employer or insurer for a period of 5 years from the date of conviction.
