Does anyone know of any unvented cylinders that can be installed horzontally? I think ACV will go on their side (without immersion) but wasnt sure if there were any more out there. To fit in a tight roofspace.

Most people who have them wish that they didn't !

They can be very difficult to get the air out of the heating coils which seem to be in the same plane as a normal cylinder and then tipped on their side.

Dont forget you can put cylinders in parallel.

I probably only see the cheap ones.

Usually I am frightened to even look at them because they seem to be bulging and look as if they are going to fail at any minute!

I quite agree, I think I will try and avoid them
