Hi there

My house is undergoing some major building working, one aspect of this is a brand new heating system most of the rads and all the hot cold system has been installed using an unvented acv smart line 240 cylinder with 3kw heater and an oil fired boiler.

The problem is lack of water pressure especially on the 2nd floor, and this is only when one tap is in use, the showers havent been installed yet but from what I can tell there not going to perform very well. We have 5 bathrooms in total.

Is it possible to run the mains water into a cold water tank and then have a pump to draw the water out to feed the cold taps and the unvented cylinder and onwards to the hot taps / showers etc ?

What specific equipment would I need ?
Could I get a cylinder similar size shape as my acv smart line 240 as this would sit well in the space I have in the outbuilding ?
Is there a simpler way to do this ?

Thanks in advance for any advice

Yes, but the cost will be substantial.
Probably cheaper and certainly much easier to have a larger water supply put in.

Hi having a larger water supply put in wouldn't fix the pressure problems I'd just have more volume of water
