Since having smart meters fitted, my CH time clock is running backwards.
Is this just a coincidence, or caused by the new meter?
Any help on how I can reset, or do I need. New timer?
Thanks, Simon

I assume that your programmer is the version with the mechanical time dial driven by a small motor. With some types of motor, because of them being powered by alternating current (AC) their direction of rotation depends upon the direction that the alternating current is flowing when power to them is turned on.

If this is true of your clock, there should be a device of some kind inside to stop it rotating in the wrong direction, and it appears that this may have failed. However if you turn the power to the clock 'off' and then 'on' again you may be lucky and switch it on when the AC is flowing in the correct direction (you have a 50% chance) You might have to do it a few times until it rotates in the correct direction. However, even if you manage to get it going in the right direction, you run the risk of this happening every time there is a power cut, so you might wish to replace it anyway.

So whilst the meter change won't be responsible for the failure of the programmer, it has highlighted it because the power was interrupted.
