Bought a wall mounted hozelock hosepipe this weekend and screwed it to the wall. Work perfectly except for leaks at the outside tap connection. I've used the plastic valve that came with it (white extension followed by yellow extension) but it's leaking at that point. Both have the washer in and both are new. What do you suggest? Changing the tap? Using a metal fitting? Etc?

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Check the mating face of the tap, a bit of wet and dry paper used with a block of wood might try it up if not too bad. They are supposed to be hand tight but a 1\4. Turn with a pair of grips (or nutcrackers if you don't have grips) will be OK.

Thanks for your help. Will give the suggestions a try.
On a slightly different note can you help with this please...
Can you use the hose fittings to extend a hose pipe to sit 2 or more sprinklers in a garden running off one water supply or will the pressure not be enough?

Thanks.

look out for brass hozelock fittings. They are much better. At this time of year you might see some in an "end-of-gardening-season-sale" If not keep an eye out. They will last as long as you do.

Depends on your water supply, l can run a sprinkler and a soaker hose together, only way is to "suck it and see" I guess! :D
