Have a Hot Point tumble dryer ( TDC 60 ) which after replacing both thermostats and heating element ( this had burnt out ) ran o.k. for a day, but has now stopped heating up again. Could it be the thermostats again ? don't want to waste another £20 replacing them, but no way of knowing for sure. or would you think the store would exchange them ?
Please help if you can

Rob.

You need to test them for continuity, also I would have thought one of them will probably be resetable. Is the ducting that the drier vents through obstucted? It is not unheard of to get faulty components from new, in which case they should be replaced free of any charge.

have you cleaned the condenser out if its full of fluff it needs a clean .the green stat you got are resetable thow it on the floor several times till its not concaved .
