When we run the tap or shower the radiators are starting to heat up to any ideas what this can be?

Sorry the boiler is a Baxi 105e and was serviced around 6 months ago

Diverter valve knackered.
Nothing to do with servicing.
Needs replacing.

Hi
I have the same boiler that had the same problem. It is the diaphragm on the diverter valve assembly.Usually about £11 ish to buy,or sometimes it is better to buy the complete assembly.

It depends how competent/confident you are. These boilers can be a right pig to get the last bit of water out of, and you could, like me(the first one I ever did),end up covering the pcb in water and wrecking it.
But dont let me put you off.If you dont have the original installation manual you could try here:

for an idea of how to do the job.

Hi Guys

The Diverter valve was replaced and stooped the rads from warming up but then the water struggled to run very warm so the heat exchanger was replaced and now the system is back to running like it should. £200 cash for the local plumber which i thought was not bad!!!!!

The reason your HEX was knackered was because the diverter wasn't doing its job. Water was constantly running through both the heat exchager and the heating system.

I'd have to argue that the heat exchanger was full of the same cr*p that caused the diverter valve to stick. So the op should be looking at flushing the system before it happens again.

Have to agree with you on this one Ray
