Hot stuff!!

Hello to all,

Advice required please:

I installed a Triton Pietra Black, 9.5 kw, approx 13 months ago, its run like a dream up to last night!! I showered for 2 mins then switched off, the water flow stopped from the head and then a few seconds later its started to "run on" even though it was switched off, short jets and steam of very hot water shot out of the shower head for a few seconds, then stopped, could have been nasty.

I switched off at the mains just to be on the safe side, left it overnight till this morning, switched back on at the mains and at the unit but the water will not now heat up, just keeps running cold.

Are electric showers fitted with a none return valve so water left in the head line cannot back flow into the unit to heat-up ?

Engineer not coming untill Thursday, any ideas folks??

Sounds like there is some kind of fault with the control system which led to a burst of hot water and a blown thermal fuse (hence why it won't heat up at all now)
