Hot Water Also Heats Radiators

I have been trying to sort out my heating system and need some advice. I have seen other useful posts on this issue but they haven't solved my problem.

Whenever the boiler is heating the hot water, the radiators in the bathroom and en-suite also heat up (not good at this time of year). I have a Drayton MA1 3-port mid position actuator/valve controlling the waterflow between the hot water cylinder and the radiators. The actuator works correctly so I suspected the valve itself was jammed. I have just replaced it and it made no difference. What else could be causing it? Having only owned the house for 6 months I can't vouch for the installation. I am very suspicious of a pipe that disappears under the floor boards after the pump but before the actuator - what would the purpose of this be?

Any help appreciated. Thanks, Jon

That little pipe probably heats up the bathroom rads because that usually preferred as it keeps the towels warm.

Its best to keep the rads covered with warm towels.

If you really dont want to do that then you can turn the individual rads off at one end.

Perhaps you are one of the very annoying people who dont keep any towels in their bathroom. I dont understand why they do not but its very frustrating when I am doing a boiler repair and find there is nothing to dry my hands on.

Possibly reversed circulation due to incorrectly commoned return pipes. To test for it allow system to cool then switch on d.h.w. only go to rad & feel which way water enters this should be flow. Then switch on htg if the flow changes to the other side then this proves reverse circulation.

Thanks for all the comments. Reverse circulation is not the issue but it does appear that pipe feeds the two radiators for the reason given by Agile. Strange concept. Anyway I have switched them off and none of the other radiators warm up so that will have to suffice as I don't want to reroute the pipe.
