Hot Water and heating only getting warm

Hi I have a Potterton Performa 28i
The problem started with the hot water intermittently running warm instead of hot. The water would heat up when taps not on and then once taps run it would run only warm even though the burner was lit. After turning the taps off the water would heat up again.
The heating has now started to only run warm and not hot even though the burner is lit and never goes above the first three red lights lit.
Could this be the diverter valve stuck half way?
Any help would be appreciated thanks

It sounds like a gas/control problem.

This may be outside the scope of a DIY repair and an RGI may well be needed.

You don't make it clear if, or what, any problem with the heating may be!

The heating comes on but does only warm does not come up to normal temperature only first two red lights lit

That's why I think its a gas/control problem.

Find and RGI.
