Hot Water & Central Heating

Hi

Firstly what great resource this is

Since May I have not needed to have the CH on... The hot water has been fine with the occasional Hot/Cold shower, I reset the pressure to 1.5 bar and that seems to have fixed it. (Do you normally need to reset the presssure, say, once a month?)

My problem is this, Monday was the first time we needed to use the CH however, the boiler did not fire up when we switched it on from the panel? Tried switching off the electricity and back on again but with no joy. We have a Vokera Option Gas Boiler...

Any help/advice would be very much appreciated for when it next gets cold!

How do you know pressure is 1.5 bar unless you have dropped 2 screws & lowered electric box? Have you got any external controls ie is black link still connected or do you have a room stat etc

Hi, thanks for the reply.

Lowered electric box and read guage. Have a room stat and a box with lcd display for timer, boost, continous, off etc.
