hi guys,
my daughter is short on space and money, can you advise hwo difficult it would be, or any probs stemming from moving the h/w cylinder into the loft
thanks
Bill

Header tank would have to be moved higher.
Probably easier to replace the boiler with a combi and therefore
no need for any tanks at all.

thanks, but i didi say she was short of money as well as space, how much higher would the header have to go

Just has to be higher than the tank. You may find this is difficult and time consuming to achieve. Then there is the loft hatch will the tank even go
through. Boiler might in the end be the cheaper option.

You also have to consider the problems with sticking all that extra weight on the joists.
