hot water gets cold everytime I bath.

Hi guys

I have a problem with hot water in my bath. When i use warm water after a few mins it gets cold for a minute and then back to warm and repeats the same process!!!

This never ever happened before. All the water comes from the basement via a combi boiler.

This problem only started when we had to take off the radiatoers for house decoration which required the system to be drained. Now the rads are back on and the water was filled up 2 on the combi boiler. This is when the problem only started.

can somebody tell me why this is happening and how I can

If you search the forum for blocked plate heat exchanger you'll find endless threads about it.

would i be able to clean it myself? or would i need a pro?

You'll have to read up on it and decide for yourself. If you post the boiler details then one of the gas fitters that knows that particular boiler can give you a better idea.
