I have a problem with my hot water supply. I get hot water out of 2 of the 3 hot taps in my house, but for some reason the bath tap only gives hot water for a few seconds then it becomes luke warm. Central heating is working fine. This problem has only started happening recently. I've got a Worcester Bosch 240 combi boiler.

could it be you are turning the water on full and not allowing it to heat up as it passes through the boiler ?

Exactly, sounds like someone has opened up the water stopcock increasing the available flow through the boiler, to in excess of its instantaneous heating ability.

If you turn down the water flow from the hot bath tap I expect the water heats up.........

Alternatively, your heat exchanger primaries in the boiler could be in the initial stages of being affected (blocked) by detritus from the radiators.

Quick way to check is to measure the flow rate from the hot tap. Take the WB quoted rate for your boiler at 35Delta T and calculate it pro rata for 42Delta T (eg: 20% less) and use a flow cup to measure the output.
