Hi
Ive recently changed the tank stat, fitted a new hot water motorised valve and an a new controller. My Dad decided to drain a rad, remove it and flush it out. He refitted and now his heating wont work (it was okay'ish prior to this, I think it was luke warm, so he thought it feasible to clean it out).
The controller calls for water, the tank stat is set to 50', the hot water valve operates, switches and the pump comes on. Now, the pump eventually starts to get warm, which I think is due to it running, not due to the water as either side of the pump is cold. The boiler doesnt seem to fire up even the pilot light is on. Any ideas on what could be the issue? could it be that the pipework is blocked with debris? or any help with this would be grateful
thanx
