Turned on hot tap in utility room (only this room) and it started knocking through the pipes, although flowed okay. Took end filter of mixer, cleaned, took brass valve and washer out of mixer unit and cleaned (although didn't look dirty), and it was fine. So I'm guessing I cleared a bit of poo out but didn't see it.
Why does it make this noise? Is it water pressure hitting a resitance and sending a pressure wave backwards, or summat? Just wondered.
