Hot water not working

Hi
My hot water is not working properly. I allowed the pressure to drop below the recommended 1.5 and it stopped working, so i changed the pressure, and it went up to about 1.8. The hot water then worked, but the next day it stopped again. If i turn on the central heating it then allows the hot water to come through!!!

Any suggestions?

ah yes! Vaillant combi boiler.

Vaillant have been making combi boilers since about 1960. They have made quite a few different models during that time.

I have a Ford car! Do you know which model it is? Clue 747 !

thanks! how much do they cost (seen one on ebay for about £13, and how easy is that to fix?
what suggests to you that this is the problem?
