boiler problem. hot water but no central heating?

I was going to have an attempt at it tomorrow but if got so much on so iv hired a plumber. But now I know how the whole things works I know what should be changed and how long roughly it will take.

It's been leaking from everywhere to be honest. The top of the valve also the thermostat for digital gauge is dripping ever so slightly and also where the round thing is. I'm guessing that's some sort of pressure sensor.

So over all leaking like a sieve over the years lol.

Thanks very much for your help though. I will certainly 've able to keep an eye on things like this more closely now. Just hope it isn't going to be too much hassle to get that actuator off as the clip has snapped inside and the only way I can think of getting it out is taking the whole valve out.
