I have a Worcester Greenstar ri boiler The only way I can get hot water is by putting my heating on too, which is making it expensive. The boiler does not fire up when the Hot Water only control is selected on the programming unit.
So having looked around this forum and others I'm picking up two possibilities:-
1) Hot water tank thermostat faulty ( but then why would I get hot water when the heating is on?)
or
2) Some valve/diaphragm problem ( but only seen this in relation to combi boilers not sure if it is relevant to my boiler).
Any advice?
