Can someone help, i have a Ferroli combi boiler that's worked perfect for about 10 years. My only problem is if i turn the hot taps on now past a dribble it goes cold, it has took the skin off my hands in the past. i've cleaned while covers where off, but don't know what to look for with this problem, please help.

Yes boiler fires up when CH is off. The model is a 1997, OPTIMA 901

If the burner goes on and off with higher flow rates, and the water comes out cool then it is likely to be a scaled secondary heat exchanger. This needs to be professionally descaled.
