hot water problem with excell 80E vokera

Hello,
with the switch on hot water only, I am getting no hot water when the taps are ON the gas burner does not come ON and only cold water flows through. when the switch is on central heating mode radiators gets warm . but still no hot water through the taps.
no red lights are illuminated..on the panel
I am clueless as to what the issue is.. the festive period doesn't help either any advise is appreciated..

the boiler is more then 10 yrs old..

Sounds like you need to call out a gas engineer.
These boilers are quite robust though. Sounds like either a divert valve diaphragm or microswitch fault.
Both relatively easy to do.

You need to replace the Domestic Hot water Diaphragm, a mid range job for a competent Diyr but wouldnt be too expensive to get a registered engineer in to do
