hot water problem

boiler is a myson economist
boiler is fireing up fine water seems to boil and then come threw the pipes with a big bang it bangs a few times, im sure this is due to the water bei ng to hot ? boiler shuts off as it should and then relights as the water cools down coming threw the pipes

im thinking the pumps not running right but it feels like it is, is there an easy way to test them ?

If there is a banging noise, then it could be that your boiler is 'kettling', in which case you would need a plumber, as the boiler could be scaled up. You could also need to bleed the system, especially the boiler if it has a bleed point, as it could be airlocked in the system somewhere.
