hi, i have a potterton suprima 50 boiler which is about 4 yrs old. i had lockouts starting at the end of 2004. it was happening less then but now its constantly doing it. i also found how to do the "TAP" to get it working. 
after reading all the threads these regarding these boilers, i thought that my problems were solved with the information needed to sort this out!
now heres my new problem which started a few days ago. when i turned on my CH but not HW, the hotwater still heats up. the water is really hot.( the rads are also getting really hot too) i have turned the temperature settings to low on both the boiler and tank but to no avail.
