HOT WATER TEMPERATURE .GOES HOT AND COLD.

HI, why does my hot water keep going stone cold then hot again when running a bath or shower.Got an ariston a series combi.

system needs cleaning, as does plate hex.
powerflush will do both in one go.

thanks for advice. system is not that old, boiler only 3 years and rest of system 5 years or doesnt that make any difference.

mate ive had 10 month old systems needing powerflush. Berkley Homes i thank you

and they told me the inhibitor had 'evaporated'. from a sealed system.

Hi Could also be a split or damaged diaphragm in the diverter valve...does the Central Heating run hot when on and its only domestic hot that runs hot and cold....

yes the central heating works fine its just difficult to run a decent bath or shower(mixer).not sure if it done it from new as i have only recntly fitted a bath and mixer shower.

if the system is 5 years old and the boiler 3, it should tell you something about the quality
