Hot Water Trickle

I have a gravity fed hot water system cold in attic hot on first floor the bathroom sink tap on the first floor is running at a trickle compaired to the other taps which are ok.I tried connecting a hose between the hot and cold I got a couple of pints of brown water out of it and its still running at a tricklewhats the next thing I can try.

Tap needs taking apart it will have come apart inside so not lifting fully

My bet is that the internal worm of the tap has come apart.
