hello can someone offer advice please,i have a solid fuel central heating ,while the rads upstairs get very hot ,the pipes entering my hot water tank are cold ,therefore not heating the water
 
sounds like an airlock or a blockage, you need to investigate the pipework at the cylinder to see if there is a bleed point
