can anyone explain why i cant get any hot water to upstairs and downstairs taps?
the system is a worcester combi boiler the pilot light is on but doesn`t ignite when taps turned on.The pilot light ignites when central heating is switched on
many thanks

A combi Boiler relies on 'flow rate' to ignite the heating elements in your boiler. Check to see that the incoming cold water valves are fully open.

Aslo, there is a dial for hotwater and one for heating. If the knob for hotwater (the left knob on a Worcester) is turned fully anti-clockwise, it effectively turns off the hotwater.

thanks for your advice.
problem was the diverter valve worn and not engaging to switch on hot water
