Some of you may have noticed, that it's been a bit warm of late.

Just become aware that our fridge isn't working, although the freezer half is still working (American style Samsung, 8 years old).

Is it likely to have been effected by the weather does anyone think?

And if so, is it likely to start working when the weather drops? Although it's already cooler today, but still not working.

Between the freezer and the fridge is an airway that allows the cold air from the freezer to pass into the fridge.
This has likely got clogged with ice.

If you can remove everything and allow the freezer to defrost then chances are this will cure the problem.

Although the bigger problem is where to put all the food during this time.
p.s. "auto defrost" fridge/freezers do not always do it automatically.
