My dishwasher has recently started to..
a) only work when there is something jammed into the door lock so that it raises the lock slightly, and...
b) the heater elements remain on after the cycle has finished.
I bought a new universal normal action push button switch (16a) but still no change. Seems odd though that this new switch makes the dishwasher work when i press the little button at the top. I would have thought that when you pressed it ( imitating the opening of the door ) it would cut off the machine??
Is it a fuse/relay issue maybe and are both issues linked.
