Please can some one help.

We purchased a 2nd hand Hotpoint Dishwasher DFW34. We put it on a normal cycle and found it has managed only to do a rinse cycle and when we opened it the bottom of the washer is flooded -b the water has not drained away and our dishes are still dirty.

We have switched it on and off. We press the buttons and nothing happens. Not even the LED screen lights up. Could it be it has an automatic flood sense causing it not to work.

We did put it on a test cycle when we first got it and it worked fine.

Can anyone please advise what we should do.
