Hotpoint 9506 Electronic

My friend has a 15 year old Hotpoint 800 Electronic 9506.

He said it was taking ages to fill on a rinse.

The hot water comes in really quickly, but the cold just trickles in. Ive checked the water valve filters and they're clear.

Does it sound like the cold water valve needs replacing?

as long the hose is not kinked then yes replace the valve.
