Hotpoint Aquarius DWF 31

I wondered if anybody could help with a problem with my dishwasher, on switching it on this morning, the display lit as normal and i could hear the pump whirring but it would not fill with water, also it was timing out.
I tried looking at it myself but could not find access to the pump underneath. Also is there anywhere i can get hold of a manual for it.
