My machine wont do the final spin. Goes through the wash cycle and tries to spin but cuts out. There are no flashing lights and the pump was changed today. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks I will have a look in the morning, had enough of it for one day. Just took a couple of towels out to lighten the load and it completed the spin. I wouldn't consider it to have been overloaded though.

yep classic case of out of balance load ,towels are heavy when wet throws it out.

Rocks1 Machine has been playing up for a couple of weeks and even with relatively small loads of ordinary clothing same thing happens. Every now and again it will complete the whole cycle without a problem. Don't want to spend too much time and money trying to repair it when a replacement machine would probably be more cost effective. As cakeman suggested I will have a look at the brushes and was also wondering if the pressure switch could cause this problem. PCB seems to be around £100 could it be that? The cost of PCB and the pump I've already had fitted at £65 could almost buy a new machine. I would appreciate your opinion as you seem to be very knowledgeable on the subject.

did you clean the filter out ,the presure pipe is attached to the sump and any bit of paper/ coins will block it up somtimes .

Checked the brushes and they seem fine, less than half worn. Blew out the pressure pipe and blew into the switch and it makes a clicking noise. Cleaned the filter. Machine still has same problem. Switch it off and select drain, switch it on, it drains, switch it off and select fast spin and switch it on again and it usually does the spin. Any suggestions?

New Symptom- lights 2+4 and on/off light flashing. Does this mean I need a new pressure switch or do the earlier symptoms have any bearing on that?

Does it stop on the rinse program and you have to advance it onto spin .

Right heater is open circuit . Test with a continuity tester or a meter.that's ur problem.

Thanks Does that mean that changing the heater element would cure it or do I need to do something else, excuse my ignorance!

Just change the heater found at the back at the bottom of the drum Cost about 20quid
