Hotpoint BU62 oven temperature.

Hi,

No sure if anyone else has experience of this but our oven, Hotpoint BU62, is not getting up to full temperature. The thermostat keeps kicking in and the hottest it will get is about 150 even when set to 220.

I suspected the thermostat but got a local domestic appliance guy in to have a look and he suspected the same, swapped the thermostat but the issue remains the same.

Any idea what else it could be? Top oven heats as expected.

I've just been having a fiddle and the thermostat doesn't click until the oven temperature knob reads 110 degrees. Does this sound like a faulty thermostat? Can they be re-calibrated or will I need to buy another one?
