hotpoint condeser dryer ctdoo not heating

Can anyone help? My dryer is not heating up, I have checked the heating element and found it to be broken, I have bought a new element and am waiting for it to arrive, my question is does the element have thermostats attached or are they a separate item. Thanks in anticipation.

Heater comes with the stats. Just be careful when fitting the heater very flimsy.

heaters on these quite often get damp and the supports break especially if the pump and sump are clogged along with the condenser and water/air guides.

Its worth giving them all a clean out.
