HOTPOINT DISHWASHER WILL NOT FILL WITH WATER?!?!?!?!

Hi, I have a Hotpoint BF1620 Dishwasher.
When I turn the dishwasher on, it works as normal however it simply will not fill with water? I have checked the taps are on for the water supply however every blog I check tells me something different?
Has anyone had this issue with a hotpoint dishwasher?
Also, if looking from left to right, the first light starts flashing a few moments into turning the dishwasher on.
If anyone could help I would be extremely grateful!!!!

Water in the base, tip it back or on its side to drain the water out. Put towels on the floor.

It would shut down if the overflow tank was fulll.

Try throwing a washing bowl of water in and see if that works.

It's probaly blocked inlet filters in the supply hose, check both ends. You may need to pul it out.

Can you use a multi meter, do you know how to get the top off, and are you aware of the dangers of electricity, if yes I can give you a few checks to carry out
