A customer has a brand new one of these and asked me to connect it for him when I have time.

It comes with a H & C feed.

What changes are expected if its only fed from the cold?

Or is it better to use a "Y" piece and feed it on both inlets from the cold?

Er a brand new one, all 800 deluxe I have seen are around the 9*** model machines and must be 20 years old.

Easy to connect up with a Y piece if you don't have a hot supply, they will work ok.

Its about 10 years old he says and never used.

He is a batchelor and one of those people who lives in a house which badly needs modernisation but he never gets around to it!

House heated by gas fires!
