Hey guys n gals,

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I searched but found no other thread with info.

Had kitchen fitted +/- 5 months ago, and the guys said they couldn't find where to fit this... "img attached"

Turns out it's the condescension strip for a Hotpoint double oven and guess what? We've now got a blown cupboard door because of it. Anyone have any idea how to fit it to the oven? The two screws at the bottom line up with the holes but part is wider than the housing. When reversed, the holes are about 15 mm too deep to pick up on. I'll try and take pics and add them.

Cheers.

I thought they were heat shields / deflectors also never heard of a condensation strip for an oven. I could be wrong though.
